The vest is built very well. It۪s thick and sturdy. This vest does have a few layers but sewing patches on by hand was easy enough. All of the pockets are deep enough to almost reach your elbows, especially the CC pockets.
Size is very accurate to the chart. I۪m 6۪ 1۝ and 270 pounds with a footballer۪ build and some gut. I۪m a 2XL in shirts and sweaters and ended getting a 5XL in this vest. It fits just right and I used the websites included measurement chart. I definitely recommend measuring yourself before selecting a size.
Overall, the workmanship on this vest is high and it exceeded my expectations.

Vest looks and feels nice.
Big problem with the sizes , they run very small and this was not mentioned in the description so I ordered the size I normally would to be comfortably loose, and I could just get it to snap closed very snuggly. Have returned it, waiting for a larger replacement to come back to me.
