I purchased this suit and sent it back the same day. The draw string at the bottom of the jacket wasn't attached at one end, so it was pretty much worthless had I ever used it. I said overkill in the title; what was meant is that the suit seems to be extremely well made. Materials were quite heavy and appeared to be very durable. One of the main reasons I selected this suit was for the heat shield on the inner leg; the materials won't melt if exposed to excessive heat from pipes, etc. With the overkill on the materials, there was a minimalist effort on stuff like zippers, elastic draw strings, etc. The zippers on the trousers were so tiny that there's no way you could operate them with gloves, or even wet hands. The suspenders were a joke! Those things may as well not even be there. The elastic material is extremely flimsey and probably wouldn't even last a season of riding. To summarize, the materials seem to be of very good quality, and would probably be waterproof as advertised. They were very generous with the reflective embellishments, which in my book is a very good thing. Zippers, elastic drawstrings, suspenders, cuffs, etc could really be beefed up. Were that to happen, there's not a suit out there that could compare to this.
