HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I just completed a 6-day ride on the road for 2474 miles in rain and snow and these protected me and kept me dry. Also, look fantastic; the braiding adds just the right amount of interest over plainer chaps. Also, my husband likes the look of them on me. The quality is very good for the price. Fit is great. Definitely recommend you buy mostly by thigh size. I bought a size 12. I weigh 138 lbs. My waist is 33"; hips 42" and thigh 19-1/2". I bought a size that allowed extra room in the thigh because of thickness of jeans, etc. So glad I did. I am 5'3-3/4" and only cut off 1-1/2" from leg because I like them to lay over my boots somewhat.
