My boyfriend actually loved these

My boyfriend actually loved these chaps; however, the chaps were to small.

Have to exchange because they

Have to exchange because they are way to small in the thigh. I recommend anyone looking at these to measure high up on your thigh and go to the chart

Sizing Chart Needs Work

Heavy chaps, seem like they will do the trick once I get the right size. I have 23" thighs and usually wear a size 6/8 in women's but went for the men's medium based on the other review that they ran small. I couldn't even get the mediums to zip at the thigh! Waist was a little big, but have to pay the return fee now to exchange for a large, which seems silly. Leatherup needs to work on their size chart.

Great for cold weather riding

I haven't been able to find any heated chaps for women so I bought these as I ride all year. The coldest temp so far in these chaps was 22 degrees. I had them on medium and they worked great. I had to turn them down from the high setting. Sizing is not hard. I just tried on a pair of mens pants and went by that. If you have slender/average legs go with the mens size that fit you. If you have larger legs, go one size up as there is no adjustment in the leg. The back of the waist is one piece and stretches, so no bulky ties and allows for a comfortable fit sitting on the bike. The removable lining is great. The control is very easy to use. Made from high grade leather. They are very supple and flexible right out of the package. Not stiff at all. Ladies, if you buy these, keep in mind they are designed for men. The legs are long. You may have to fold up the linings and stitch the heated panel in place once you see how short you need to cut them. I did this and it took me less then 20 minutes to get a good custom fit. Cut them longer than you think you need, then walk around a bit with your riding boots on. This will mark the heel area of the chap to help with judging length. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to ride in cold weather.
